The foundation of all music is its rhythm, and most musicians will tell you that the beat is even more important than the notes. In this monthly workshop, students learn techniques for sharpening their sense of rhythm and tempo away from their instrument using hand percussion, clapping, and vocalization. By focusing solely on rhythm and pulse, students internalize their sense of rhythm and can then apply it in any musicial situation.
All ages welcome.
Dates
Every 4th Thursday when school is in session. You are welcome to attend one or more times during the year.
