MCMS Academic Calendar   2023-2024

MCMS generally follows the Ross Valley Schools academic calendar. However, teachers set their own schedules.  Some prefer to keep teaching, particularly during the weeklong holiday breaks, so please verify with your teacher if you are unsure of their holiday schedule.

Fall 2023   August 23 – December 22

  Sept 4     Labor Day holiday

  Nov 10   (Friday) Veteran’s Day holiday

  Nov 20 – 24   Fall break (some teachers continue teaching)

  Nov 23   Thanksgiving holiday

  Dec 3      2:30 pm, student recital First Presbyterian

  Dec 17   last day of Fall semester

Winter break   Dec 23  – Jan 5    closed  (check with your teacher)

Spring  2024    January 3  – June 14

  Jan 15     Martin Luther King holiday

  Feb 19 – 23  Winter break (some teachers continue teaching)

  April 8 -12  Spring break (some teachers continue teaching)

               May 27    Memorial Day holiday

  June 9      Student recital, First Presbyterian Church ,2-4 pm

  June 13    Last day of spring semester

               June 19   Juneteenth holiday (some teachers teaching)
