Join fellow classical music enthusiasts to play trios, quartets, and quintets from the Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and Modern repertoire under the guidance of an expert coach.
We welcome players of all ages and varying skill levels. Most classical chamber music repertoire requires at least an intermediate level of skill on your instrument and proficiency at reading music. Every effort is made to find suitable repertoire and to place you in a group with other musicians appropriate to your level of playing experience.
Players of orchestral stringed and woodwind instruments and pianists will nearly always be placed in a group. Vocalists, classical guitarists, and brass players are welcome to apply but we are not always able to accommodate them.
While most participants enroll individually and are then matched with suitable partners, we welcome pre-formed groups.
Each of the first five weekly sessions lasts for two hours, divided into one 60-minute coached segment and one 60-minute self-guided segment. The sixth session is an informal recital where groups play for one another and their invited guests.
To begin, please complete and submit the form below. While acceptance is not guaranteed, we will make every effort to welcome you into a group.
