Oregon native Kurt Huget moved to the Bay Area in 1975, drawn by a music scene that has made him one of its own. He has performed and recorded with members of many legendary San Francisco rock bands, including the Grateful Dead, Jefferson Starship, Quicksilver Messenger Service, and Big Brother. A longtime volunteer performer with Bread & Roses Presents, Kurt also teaches a weekly guitar class at San Quentin Prison.
