Does your son or daughter want to play the guitar? Noted Marin performer and teacher Jeff Miller (New Monsoon, Fairfax Music Camps) is now offering a class for children ages 9 to 12 at Marin Community Music School.
In a series of five 45-minute sessions, Jeff will introduce your child to the basics of tuning, holding, strumming, and fingering chords and scales on the guitar.
Enrollment is limited to just four students, so each child receives the attention they deserve.
At the end of five weeks, students can enroll in a follow-up class or private lessons or go home and continue learning on their own.
The class meets on Fridays from 4:30 to 5:15 from February 28 through March 28.
The fee is $210. Financial aid is available. Prepayment is not required.
